Find a Home for Your Loved Leos
Have some old dance clothes just taking up space? Gather all of your old dance clothes and determine which pieces still have more life left in them. Bundle up those clothes into a nice package and donate it to a dancer in need or bring it to a place that has local dance programs such as the Boys and Girls Club. You are sure to make someone smile because who doesn’t love a new leo!?!?
Bring Cookies to the Front Desk
Show your love for the individual who works at the front desk of your studio. You can write them a note to thank them for all those times you had to borrow the phone, or you could sweeten up their night with a sugar cookie!
Write a Letter of Encouragement
As an older dancer, you are a role model for many young dancers. All dancers need a little extra love and encouragement once in a while. Write a letter to a young dancer to congratulate them on all their hard work and the many improvements they have made. Tell them how talented they are and how much you enjoy knowing them. It will make them so happy to know that an older dancer is watching!
Write a Letter of Admiration
Older dancers need encouragement too! If you are a younger dancer take time to write a letter to a dancer that inspires you or who you admire. Tell them why they are such an inspiration. What if I am the oldest at the studio?!?! Look around at your peers. Is there anyone who has been making great improvements or someone that may need an extra boost of confidence?
Share the Arts
You have worked so hard to put together your Christmas showcase or your Nutcracker production. Share your hard work with someone. Purchase tickets to your performance and give them away. You could give them to a school teacher or a classmate. You could also donate them to an organization or business.

Thank Your Parents and/or Guardians
It is always nice to take time to thank your biggest supporters, but especially during the holiday season! Tell your parents and/or guardian’s how much you appreciate all their support and their investment into your passion. It can be simple and sweet or extravagant. Pro suggestion: write sticky notes on all the different reasons you appreciate them and put them around the house to find.
Write a Letter to Your Teachers
Next, to your parents, your teachers are your biggest supporters. It is important to thank them as well and let them know you appreciate them. You can show your thanks by thanking them after class. Another great way to thank your teachers is to write them a note.
Tip: pick up a notebook at the dollar store and write a message in the front and give it to your teacher. Not only will they love the note, but it will also give them a new notebook to write lesson plans in.[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”” i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-heart” i_color=”custom” i_size=”xs” add_icon=”true” i_custom_color=”#e183ea”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
