Can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started dancing when I was 3 years old with mommy and me classes and loved it. I have trained since then in most dance styles but started my ballet and contemporary focus when I was 9 years old. I love ballet!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I think when there are love and passion things become easy or easier. I love to dance, and I work hard to improve myself every day. Some days are harder than others, but my love for dance keeps me working towards my goals.
What personal limitations if any did you go through in your young career?
Having enough time to dance as much as I would like to. Happy to start the Summer where I will be able to dance 24/7 ❤️🤗
Has anybody ever tried to limit you on what you could do? If so how did you fight it?
I am lucky to have supportive teachers and parents who believe in me.
How do you conquer negative talk?
I concentrate on the positive and keep going.
What is your favorite quote?
"Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved." - Helen Keller
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Next, I will be attending Summer Intensives! I am excited to start my summer intensives at the Dallas Conservatory, SAB JS NYC and BBASI. I can't wait!!!
