Can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
It all started when I was 2 years old. I used to watch lots of ballet movies, especially the Barbie ones. I also used to imagine I was a swan with pointe shoes! 🤪 My mom was the one who introduced me to this amazing world. There’s a lot of stuff that I have achieved because of her. My first “Dance Studio” was at a local place where I live, it was nothing too professional, but I really enjoyed it! At first, ballet was just a hobby, but one day, my mom took me to México city to see Elisa Carrillo, who is one of the best ballet dancers in the world, and I was just SO AMAZED at how she and her friends danced, that I decided to take ballet to the next level!! So thanks to my mom, I have a giant love for what I do! 🥰💖
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not at all! Even though many things come easily to my life without looking for them, I still have to work hard to achieve my dreams. For example, I have never been naturally flexible, and my technique was HORRIBLE. It’s still not perfect, but I have improved a lot. My family is always looking for opportunities, such as master classes and privates. I recently talked to this wonderful ballet dancer called Rocio Alemán. She helped me understand lots of things that I was lost in. I got this opportunity because of an uncle I have! 🥰
What personal limitations if any did you go through in your young career?
I’m really scared of what people think, and I’m also the kind of person that doesn’t like to hurt anyone’s feelings, so this makes me stop myself. But I have already learned how to be even stronger! I’m also going through big changes in my body, but I love myself the way I am, and I try to be healthy!
Has anybody ever tried to limit you on what you could do? If so how did you fight it?
Of course!! I have learned that even the people that you love and trust the most can betray you. I have experienced mean comments, fake rumors about me, and even people trying to make me feel bad about myself or make me fail! But I just keep my head up and continue! I never let haters make me feel sad! 😉
How do you conquer negative talk?
I always try to be nice to people even if they are not nice to me. I also ignore them because opinions are not facts! But if it’s something really bad, I speak up! 🤷🏻♀️

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Yes!! I’m planning to audition for a ballet school in Monterrey. I’m also trying to improve my technique for bigger competitions and conventions. I’m trying to work harder to make a change in my life and audition for a Bolshoi Summer intensive! 🥰
