Can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started dance when I was four and started serious training when I turned 10. I dance all forms of dance but focus on ballet and contemporary.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There were a few struggles, such as overcoming the fact that I am not born with natural technique, so I have to work extra hard to get that.
What personal limitations if any did you go through in your young career?
Technique struggles and flexibility are my personal limitations.
Has anybody ever tried to limit you on what you could do? If so how did you fight it?
I have never gotten any hate. Although I do compare myself to better dancers, it motivates me.
How do you conquer negative talk?
I don’t get much negative talk, but if I do, I just ignore them.
What is your favorite quote?
“Don’t practice until you get it right, practice until you can’t get it wrong” - Author Unknown
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I plan on being an actor with a dancing role. My inspiration is Juliet Doherty.
