The Worst Mistakes Dancers Have Made
That’s right, everyone messes up. Hey Alexa, play Nobody’s Perfect by Miley Cyrus! Whether you have zero dance experience, or you’ve taken every dance class under the sun, everyone has made a mistake at some point in their dance career. So we reached out to our dance community and asked them, what’s the worst dance mistake you made?
- I forgot to stretch before a performance. I did a bridge/ push up and my hip gave in. I couldn’t move.

- I landed a jump on the outer edge of my foot resulting in a nasty ankle roll. 🙃

- I was at a dance workshop and I hopped on a spring floor and my ankle decided it wasn’t going to do it any more. I was in a boot for a while. After that, I got out the boot and not long after I retwisted it causing me to go back into the boot.

Ooh, those don’t sound too fun. Remembering the importance of stretching and knowing when to take a break can really make or break a dance sometimes. Hopefully you now realize you’re not alone and everyone makes mistakes whether it’s your first day of dance or your 1,000,000 day of dance. Also, shout out to our awesome dance community for helping contribute to this article:
