There are so many ways to tell a story. Some of which, do not even involve talking. Performing and telling a story are two super awesome parts of dance, especially ballet. There may not be speaking and singing, but ballets are so graceful and their own ways of telling stories. Through ballet, you can watch these stories come to life. But with so many ballets out there, it can be hard to pick one to watch. We got you covered. We reached out to our incredible dance community and asked, what’s your favorite ballet? Here’s what they had to say.

Broadway musicals are so fun to watch. There’s singing and dancing with awesome choreography. Some Broadway musicals have even been filmed so you can watch them in the comfort of your own home. But with so many Broadway musicals out there, it can be hard to pick one to watch. Well, we found a solution. We asked our dance community what their favorite Broadway musicals were and added a few of our own.
Growing as a teenager, and even now as an adult, I am often complimented on my leadership. What stands out is my attention to detail, compassion, and initiative. This is all thanks to being raised in a dance studio where these qualities of leadership are highlighted. We were expected to be leaders in the studio, not just in the competitive company. Leadership is valued just as much as dancing ability and talent. My studio’s leadership program creates weekly lessons on five character values: Trust, Serve, Love, Excellence, and Growth. Throughout my time as a dancer at my studio and as an original member of the leadership program, I found these five values quickly found themselves into my leadership skills, dancing, and life as a whole.
