We enjoy movie nights with our friends, and it’s even better when you’re watching a dance movie! Dance movies are so fun to watch, and as dancers, we can relate to them. We reached out to our amazing dance community and asked them what their favorite dance movie was, and here’s what they said.

Meet Ava Ramirez, 11, from Columbia SC. She goes to Columbia Conservatory of Dance/Columbia City Ballet. She trains for around 25 hours each week.

Meet Michay Winter, 16, from Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦. She goes to Lesley porter school of dance. She is very lucky to have a very supportive family.

Meet Angelina, 15, from South Florida. She goes to Dancers Training Spot. She has been struggling with back pain for years due to scoliosis.

Even though we may be flexible and be able to do multiple turns, dancers want superpowers too. Wouldn’t it be nice to do turns all day without getting dizzy? What about getting to dance early from school instead of late? We reached out to our amazing dance community and asked them, and here’s what they came up with!

Meet Keagan, who is 12 years old. She does ballet at Evolve Ballet Conservatory. She believes ballet is never complete, and you will never know everything.

Meet Skylar Reeve, 11, from Atlanta Georgia. Her dance studio is Atlanta Professional Dance Academy. She was not born with natural technique, so she had to work extra hard to get that.

Meet Valiqa Zahra (Arra), 7, from Indonesia. She goes to Marlupi Dance Academy. She enjoys the learning process.
