While ballet may seem boring, it holds the technique to a good foundation in dance. Ballet also has some pretty cool moves that are quite impressive to watch! On top of cool moves, professionals somehow make dance look easy! But with so many wonderful ballet steps out there, how can we pick a favorite? We reached out to our dance community and asked them what their favorite ballet step is. Here’s what they had to say!
Meet Lauren DeVaul. She is 16 years old. She is from Dallas, Texas and she dances at Dance Industry Performing Arts Center. She instantly fell in love with dance and being on stage.
Meet Janessa, 13, and she lives in Singapore. She will be dancing at Yan ballet academy(starting June 3rd), and she has danced at ballet music company (since 2011, till June 3rd, 2021). What inspired her was a video of Misty Copeland in Swan Lake.
Meet Sophie, 8, and she lives in Hong Kong. She goes to Otarova Aynagul ballet coaching. She is still young, but her dream would be to become a professional dancer and be able to spread the love of dancing to more people.
