Meet Rachel, 13, and she lives in Singapore. She dances at Yan Ballet Academy. One limitation she had was her younger self.

Meet Ilona Jahja, 13, and she lives in Jakarta, Indonesia. She dances at Marlupi Dance Academy. Sometimes it's hard for her to motivate herself when she's bored or tired with ballet, but she thinks it's normal to have that kind of feeling where you feel bored and tired with something you do literally every day and repeatedly.

While dance is an intensive sport, which involves many hours of training, it is also an art form. And let’s face it, we all look forward to seeing what our costumes are going to look like! But given how often some dancers dance each week, how many costumes do you think they own? Well, you’re about to find out! We asked our dance community how many costumes they have collected over the years, and here’s what they had to say:

Meet Madison Van Haastrecht, 10, and she lives in Oakville, Ontario. She dances at Canadian Dance Company. She is not naturally flexible, so she has had to work very hard to get her flexibility.

Meet Sophia Van Haastrecht, 8, and she lives in Oakville, Ontario. She dances at Canadian Dance Company. She became a competitive dancer and gymnast.

Meet Molly Faunce, 8, and she lives in Michigan. She will be switching studios next season, but it has not yet been revealed. She is also a part of the miniCREW team training under Mollee Gray and Jeka Jane. There is a lot of traveling back and forth to do what she loves, but you do what you gotta do to make it happen, and that’s what they do!
